Why We Started
Springs Brake and Suspension was born from a simple realization: the hardest part of auto repair often isn’t the repair itself—it’s the experience around it.
Before acquiring and building the brand we know today, Sean Miller had built a successful, decade-long, career in sales, marketing, and customer experience—fields where clear communication, trust, and long-term relationships are non-negotiable. Like many customers, he had firsthand experience with the uncertainty that can come with auto repair: unclear explanations, pressure to approve work on the spot, and not always knowing who to trust—even at dealerships.
That led to a straightforward belief: people deserve a better experience.
Springs Brake and Suspension was built around that belief—a place where honest auto repair is paired with clear communication, fair recommendations, and a genuine commitment to helping people make informed decisions about their vehicles. And it all started in Vancouver, Washington.
The foundation for that approach began with the shop’s original owner, Rick Black, who set out to serve the community with integrity and transparency. Building on that vision, Sean has grown the brand into what it is today: a trusted, community-focused shop known for doing the job right and treating people the right way.
